ACFX review | AtlasCapital FX Review 2019
AtlasCapital was incorporated in October 2007 and is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. The Company is a member of AtlasGroup, one of the most largest conglomerates in southeast Europe. AtlasGroup has twenty years of experience in investments and commercial banking, as well as real estate investments. Because of this, the brokerage is well-capitalized.
Based in Cyprus and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission AtlasCapital is fully compliant with the EU – MiFID Directive (Markets In Financial Instruments Directive). In addition, AtlasCapital provides traditional services like global custodianship to investment banks, brokers-dealers, institutional investors, mutual funds, corporate entities, and private investors.
Trading accounts
AtlasCapital offers a ton of accounts for their traders, including fixed spreads, floating spreads, straight-through-process accounts, Islamic accounts, and raw spread accounts that allow for trading by a multitude of different kind of traders. The accounts are all protected by CySec and the MiFID requirements in the EU.
The company
AtlasCapital is based in Cyprus and is in the hub of the retail brokerage-friendly city of Limassol. The company has a long history of doing large deals in the real estate world and has a lot of capital backing the company as a result. Also, the company is under the auspices of CySec, and is heavily regulated.
Trading conditions
Initial deposit
The initial deposit required is just $50 for the mini account. The standard account is available for a deposit of $5000. There is an ECN account that is available for an initial deposit of $10000. The VIP account, which offers plenty of extras and lower spreads, is open to traders that deposit $10000. The classic floating opens up at $50, while the STP classic account is the same. All accounts are based in US dollars.
Spreads and conditions
AtlasCapital has a lot of different conditions for traders. The mini account has a 2.2 pip fixed spread on the EUR/USD pair. The standard account finds the EUR/USD pair trading with a 1.8 fixed spread. The ECN account will see a minimum 0.5 pips for the pair. The classic floating will see 1.2 pips minimum. STP accounts will see a minimum of 1.4 pips spread in the EUR/USD pair.
Leverage
Leverage is generous at AtlasCapital in the currency markets. In fact, the leverage is 1:500 – one of the highest amounts available for retail traders. The broker also offers metals for traders, with a graduated leverage schedule. The leverage starts at 1:100, but once you are trading above 10 lots, then you are looking at 1:50 leverage. The leverage drops down to 1:25 above 50 lots, and so on.
Trading platforms
MetaTrader4 is the main platform that people will us at AtlasCapital and should be familiar to most of you. This platform is by far the most popular platform in the world, and of course comes in both desktop and mobile varieties. The ability to add expert advisors is one of the main features of MT4.
PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) trading is also available. This is more for money managers than anything else, allowing you to assign a percentage of capital from multiple accounts on a position. This will help you trade for clients if you wish to, allowing the sizing of positions according to various account sizes.
Payment methods
AtlasCapital offers a lot of options for funding and withdrawing options for their traders, allowing almost anyone to get involved. Credit Card/Debit Cards, Web Money, Skrill, Neteller, Cash U, Wire Transfer, DixiPay, NetBanx, Fasapay, Union Pay, and Perfect Money all are available. The best part? There are no charges either way!
Extras
AtlasCapital has an area on their site called “Academy”, which offers education. However, this is a broker that seems to have given up on this section, and quite frankly this isn’t very professional looking. It is probably best not to look for help in this regard.
