Blackwell Global Review: a Must-Read Before Trading

Blackwell Global Review – A Must-Read Before Trading

Looking for the best forex broker? Your search is over. Read our Blackwell Global review to evaluate the pros and cons of this online forex broker and choose on the basis of data if it is suitable for your needs. This article is dedicated to reviewing one of the best regulated brokers and to give you a clearer idea of what to expect in case you decide to open an account with them.

Blackwell Global Review

Blackwell Global is a broker that has been around since 2010 and was started in New Zealand. They now have offices around the world, including Australia, Cyprus, and the United Kingdom as well as their home in New Zealand. The broker has been growing since the beginning and is highly regulated by several different regulatory bodies such as the FCA, CySec, ASIC, and FSA.

The broker is now featured in over 90 countries, and ease committed to transparency, integrity, and of course perfect customer service, which they are known for.

Trading accounts

Blackwell Global offers a couple of different counts for retail traders. There is the Mini account, which has a minimum deposit of $2000, and a Standard account which has a minimum deposit of $10,000. They do also offer institutional counts, but the minimum deposit for those accounts starts at $200,000. The base account currency is in US dollars.

The company

As stated previously, Blackwell Global was started in New Zealand, and now has offices around the world. They are regulated in multiple countries, and have a long track record of transparency, as well as adding fresh new tools for retail traders to keep an eye on their investments. The company has been growing at a breakneck speed, but quite frankly this is due to so much in the way of customer satisfaction.

Trading conditions

Initial deposit

As stated previously, if you wish to get involved with Blackwell Level, the minimum deposit is $2000. If you want a Standard account, then it becomes $10,000. Because of this, not everybody will be able to trade at Blackwell Global, if you have the sufficient trading capital, starting your account is simple, and only requires the usual documents. However, it should be pointed out that US traders are not accepted.

Spreads and conditions

Blackwell Global has an ECN model, so that means that the spread will vary. For example, if you are looking to trade the EUR/USD pair, the spread is typically 1.5 tips. However, it can get tighter or even looser than that depending on the time of day and liquidity. Another pair that is quite surprising is the NOK/JPY pair, which is a scant 0.6 pips typically.

Blackwell Global also allows the trading of gold and silver against the US dollar. The typical spread in the gold market is 5.8 pips, while silver is 7.6 pips. CFD markets are also available, with a wide variance of spreads around the world, allowing you to trade stock indices in the CFD markets. They also offer oil in both the US and UK varieties. They went all in when it comes to crypto currency, and the spreads are all over the place, depending on which currency you are trading. It should be pointed out though that cryptocurrencies don’t offer the kind of leverage that other markets do.

Leverage

Blackwell Global offers 1:30 leverage in most markets, including the Forex and CFD markets. However, the crypto currency markets only offer 1:2 leverage. This is not the best broker for high amounts of leverage, but quite frankly large leverage can quite often lead to large losses.

Trading platforms

MetaTrader4 is the main platform that people will use at Blackwell Global and should be familiar to most of you. This platform is by far the most popular platform in the world, and of course comes in both desktop and mobile varieties. The ability to add expert advisors is one of the main features of MT4.

They also have the Infinitum platform this is typically used by professional traders, perhaps even institutional traders.

Payment methods

Blackwell Global offers the following payments: bank wire, credit card, Neteller, Moneybookers.

Extras

Blackwell Global doesn’t offer much in the way of extras, so if you need some type of bonus feature when it comes to analysis, education, or anything like that, Blackwell Global is not going to be your broker. Beyond that, if you are a brand-new trader, you should not be investing $2000 or more to begin with.
